Library materials must be signed out at the Reference Desk between the hours of 8:45 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are two book drops available for the return of library materials - one at the library entrance, and one on the third floor of the West building.
May be signed out for three months at a time with unlimited renewals, but are subject to recall for another patron's use. ACLS and BLS manuals may be signed out for three weeks at a time.
The library's system emails overdue notices to users' email addresses. Borrowers are encouraged to renew or return items. Talbot does not charge overdue fines. If materials are not returned, however, Talbot charges a replacement fee comprised of the cost of the book plus a $15.00 service fee. Users failing to comply may face revocation of library privileges.
May be signed out for three weeks.
Bound journals may be signed out for a two-week period; unbound journals do not circulate.
Nursing and medical texts in sections Ref.25 and Ref.26 may be signed out overnight. Other reference materials should not leave the library without special arrangement with a librarian.
May be signed out indefinitely, but subject to recall if needed by another patron.
Materials used in the library should be left on tables, book trucks, and in carrels. Please do not reshelve library materials! Library staff maintains usage statistics by recording what is reshelved each day.
